From the Potatoes and Vegetables mini-cookbook, a gift from my mom.
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Brush the baking dish with butter. Pat the potatoes dry with a paper towel.
Arrange alternating layers of potatoes, brushed with butter, and marjoram and salt and pepper.
Cook in oven for 1 1/2 hours, or until the potatoes are easy to poke. Let cool before serving.
