This is a healthy eggless recipe which we enjoyed very much plain or with a bit of ice cream on the side.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In one mixing bowl combine flour, salt, baking soda, cinnamon and cloves.
Cream 1/2 cup butter and brown sugar together until smooth. Slowly add in flour mixture until batter is smooth.
Stir in chocolate chips or sprinkles.
Stir in applesauce. Grease the mini-buntlet pans and flour. Pour mixture evenly into pan and cook for 40 - 60 minutes in the oven or until toothpick comes out clean. Cool, flip pan to remove mini-cakes, and eat!
