Cabbage and Sausage

This is a nice warm dish on cold winter nights.

Step 1

When preparing the ingredients I like to leave everything in large diced pieces. For the sausage- I remove the casing, cut the link down the middle and dice. Vary the sizes to fit your preference.

Step 2

Heat the pot on medium heat- then add the sausage. Let the sausage brown (if there is no juice at the bottom of the pan, add 1/2 cup of water to avoid burning). Next add the leeks and cabbage.

Step 3

Cook with lid on for about 20 minutes, or until the cabbage has wilted. Now add pepper and salt to taste. Enjoy!
