Cherry Chocolate Brownies

Recipe courtesy of Wilderness brand pie filling.

1 21.5oz package brownie mix,

1 Can Wilderness Cherry Pie Filling,

1/4 Cup Canola Oil,

2 Eggs,

Butter or margarine,

1 1/4 Cups Semisweet chocolate chips,

Vanilla Ice Cream,

Mixing Bowl

13"x9" baking pan

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Step 2

Grease the bottom only of the baking pan with butter or margarine.

Step 3

Combine brownie mix, 1 cup pie filling, oil and eggs in mixing bowl. Mix just to combine.

Step 4

Pour mix into greased pan and bake for 30-35 minutes.

Step 5

Remove from oven and immediately sprinkle the chocolate chips over the top.

Step 6

Once the chips are melted, spread them to evenly coat the top of the brownies.

Step 7

Let cool, cut into squares and top each square with a scoop of ice cream and a spoonful of cherry pie filling.
