Roasted Garlic

A quick way to make a good spread of roasted garlic. We like to use it in mashed potatoes.

Step 1

Cut off the top of the garlic bulb. Drizzle in the olive oil, coating the top of the cloves and letting it seep in. Wrap in aluminum foil.

Step 2

Cook in the oven for 45 minutes at 450 degrees (faster in toaster oven), bottom down.

Step 3

Unrap foil and cook for 5 more minutes to brown the tops.

Step 4

Using hotpad gloves, squeeze the garlic and watch the cloves pop out. Eat and enjoy!
