Cinnamon, Pumpkin and Blueberry Oatmeal

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Cup Steel-cut Oats
  • 1/4 Tsp Salt
  • 1/4 Tsp Cinnamon
  • 1/4 Cup Canned Pumpkin
  • 1/4 Cup Fresh Blueberries washed and rinsed
  • 4 Cups Water
  • Honey

Equipment

  • medium saucepan

Method
 

  1. Bring water to a boil in the saucepan.
  2. Stir in Oats, salt and cinnamon.
  3. Reduce heat slightly and boil for 10 minutes -- stir occasionally.
  4. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 30 minutes -- stir frequently until thickened.
  5. Remove from heat and stir in pumpkin.
  6. Top with blueberries and honey and serve hot.
