Banana Bread

This banana bread never fails.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 1/4 c all-purpose flour
  • 2 1/4 tsp baking powder
  • 1/3 c butter room temperature
  • 2/3 c sugar
  • 1 egg beaten
  • 1 c ripe banana pulp
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 c nuts or chips

Equipment

  • mixer
  • Medium bowl
  • spatula

Method
 

  1. Heat oven to 350 degrees. Whisk together flour, baking powder and salt in bowl.
  2. Cream the butter and sugar in mixer. Beat in egg and banana (want the banana to remain lumpy).
  3. Add the flour to the mixer in 3 parts until just mixed. Fold in nuts (or chips).
  4. Cook for 1 hour or until done. Cool before slicing.
