Broccoli Stir-Fry

Ingredients
  

  • 1.5 lb broccoli cooked
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1/4 c diced leeks
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp ginger powder
  • 1/4 tsp Aleppo pepper
  • 1/4 tsp toasted sesame oil
  • 2 c rice cooked

Method
 

  1. Whisk 1/2 water, soy sauce, cornstarch and sugar in a small bowl. Add the garlic, ginger and pepper flakes to the soy sauce mixture and set aside.
  2. Heat skillet and add vegetable oil; coat the pan. Add broccoli florets and leeks and cook until slightly browned. Push broccoli and leeks to the edges of the pan; form an empty well in the center.
  3. Add the soy mixture and stir until the sauce has thickened and broccoli is coated, about 30 seconds. Remove from heat, add sesame ail and stir to coat. Serve with rice.
