Cauliflower Steaks

Ingredients
  

  • 1 head Cauliflower sliced in 3/4 inch
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp coriander
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 4 tbsp olive oil

Equipment

  • Baking Sheet with Silpat
  • Large spatula
  • Small bowl and spoon

Method
 

  1. Heat oven to 425 F. Slice the cauliflower into 3/4 inch slices. Place the slices on a silpat lined baking sheet. Mix the dry seasonings in a small bowl.
  2. Use a silicone brush to cover cauliflower slices with olive oil. Sprinkle half of the dry spice mixture over the cauliflower. Bake at 425 F for 15 minutes.
  3. Take the pan out of the oven, use the large spatula to flip the cauliflower. Use a silicone brush to cover this side of the cauliflower slices with olive oil. Sprinkle the remaining half of the dry spice mixture over the cauliflower. Bake at 425 F for 15 minutes until browned and fork-tender.
