Cherry Chocolate Brownies

Ingredients
  

  • 1 21.5 oz package brownie mix
  • 1 Can Wilderness Cherry Pie Filling
  • 1/4 Cup Canola Oil
  • 2 Eggs
  • Butter or margarine
  • 1 1/4 Cups Semisweet chocolate chips
  • Vanilla Ice Cream

Equipment

  • Mixing Bowl
  • 13"x9" baking pan

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Grease the bottom only of the baking pan with butter or margarine.
  3. Combine brownie mix, 1 cup pie filling, oil and eggs in mixing bowl. Mix just to combine.
  4. Pour mix into greased pan and bake for 30-35 minutes.
  5. Remove from oven and immediately sprinkle the chocolate chips over the top.
  6. Once the chips are melted, spread them to evenly coat the top of the brownies.
  7. Let cool, cut into squares and top each square with a scoop of ice cream and a spoonful of cherry pie filling.
