Refrigerator Pickles

Ingredients
  

  • 3 pickling cucumber sliced
  • 1/8 tsp dill weed dried
  • 1/4 tsp yellow mustard seed
  • 1/2 c vinegar
  • 1/2 c water
  • 1.5 tsp pickling salt
  • 2 cloves garlic smashed

Equipment

  • Pint jar
  • Canning lid and screw band
  • Bowl and spoon

Method
 

  1. Pack the canning jar with sliced cucumbers. Top with dill, mustard seeds and garlic.
  2. Mix the vinegar, water and pickling salt together and pour into the canning jar full of cucumbers. Place the canning lid and screw top. Store in refrigerator for up to 1 year. Ready to eat after 24 hours.
