Stir-Fried Cabbage

Vegetarian Chinese Stir-Fry, great alone or with addins of mushrooms and snow peas.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tsp ginger powder
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 2 tsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 2 tbsp peanut oil
  • 1 Chinese cabbage shredded
  • salt to taste
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds toasted
  • 1 leek shredded

  • large skillet
  • 2 small bowls

Method
 

  1. Combine the garlic, ginger, red pepper flakes in a bowl. Combine the soy sauce and vinegar in another
  2. Heat skillet to medium high heat, and add the peanut oil. Add the leek and cook for 3 minutes, or until bright green. Add the cabbage, cook for 4 minutes.
  3. Add the sauce and spices, mix for 1 minute.
  4. Remove from heat, add sesame seeds, serve on udon noodles.
